1. Talking to God is your greatest privilege.  Glory! Pray for Christians on Antigua today. They remember that the first Moravian missionaries arrived there April 1, 1756.

2. Pray for Dr. and Mrs. Philip McKinley serving Christ among Miskito Indian people in Awas, Honduras, until April 8 in an AIDS program.

3. Pray for the 3 week Medical/Evangelism group Dr. Richard Marx is leading to China, including RN’s Cindy Jones, Debbie James, Mark George, Charlie Watson, and Sharon Wingo, Pray often for each by name this month.

4. Today pray for Mark Ebert leading a team of volunteers from Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and North Carolina in Honduras building, praying and testifying for Jesus.

5. Pray for Southern Provincial Elders, meeting today. May they sense the guidance of God.

6. Pray for Br. Doug Rights and Olivet Moravian Church. Today is Olivet’s birthday – 1851. Savior, help them to find and welcome many people that need Your salvation.

7. Pray for pastors and CE meeting at Salemtowne at 9:15 am today to see the second part of the film on the Palestinian situation. Star Mountain Institute for handicapped children is in this area. The regular meeting follows the film.

8. Pray that in Labrador God will call out more Moravians to be leaders, teachers and soul winners. (See P. 3 for some thoughts about the youth of Labrador).

9. Franklin Graham asks for prayer for the beautiful country of Australia. “95% of Australians are unchurched. Their pursuit of self-gratification rivals and perhaps even exceeds that of the United States yet we have seen some growing spiritual hunger.”

10. THE LORD’S DAY – In church today pray for every person  we see and ask God’s blessing on them.

11. Today is Enterprise Moravian’s birthday (1898). Bless their new pastor, Keith White. Master, give them great opportunities and joy and success in winning souls for Thee.

12. Worship God even on Tuesdays. You don’t need many words to worship God; creatures in Heaven “rest  not day or night, saying “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty” – Rev. 4:8. Hallelujah (praise the Lord) can be a one-word prayer too.

13. It is a joy to pray for congregations on their birthdays. Today is Bethania’s birthday (1760). Ask God what you wish he would do for them and their pastor, Br.  Wayne Byerly.

14. Today another team of volunteers is going to Awas, Honduras. Let them be a blessing there.  Father, help them to receive with joy the blessings that Honduran people will give to them.

16. Since we have a great High Priest…Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold firmly the faith we profess. Heb. 4:14 Speak with joy and thankfulness. Christ Jesus, I adore you.

17. Jubilate! Our day for rest, worship and rejoicing. If you don’t go to Sunday school, today is a good day to visit a Sunday school class.

18. Monday.  Money being given to the Lahoma Gray Memorial Fund is to be used to print Miskito Bibles. Thank you, Father, for this opportunity.

19. Pray God to guide Moravian Theological Seminary trustees meeting today and tomorrow in Bethlehem.

20. Bless Calvary Moravian Church and Br. Lane Sapp in your prayers today. What specific blessing will you ask God to give them?

21. Today pray for Moravian College Trustees to be faithful to God in governing the college. Pray for Leaksville Moravian and Br. Bob Peterson; the church was started April 21, 1929.

22. Heavenly Father, be with the Southern Province Women’s  Spiritual Life Retreat at Laurel Ridge. Also, today is Salem College Founders Day; Salem is seeking to employ a Christian chaplain.

23. Dear God, save us from thieves and other criminals. Bless and take care of people (mention names) in my neighborhood. Protect our churches. 

24. MORAVIAN MUSIC SUNDAY – Today is also the prayer day for the Evangelism and Homeland Missions. David Fishler is the Chairman and David Guthrie is Executive Director.

25. Senior Friends gather at Laurel Ridge. Bless them in their retreat. Today also (1890) Moravian missionaries arrived on Trinidad. (Near Venezuela)

26. Holy Spirit, bless Al Gambill (Ardmore) and his team conducting a prayer seminary for Miskito pastors in Honduras.

27. In 1790 Moravian missionaries arrived on Tobago, an island near Trinidad. Father, give them a passion to find lost souls to bring to Thee.

28. Continue to pray for tsunami survivors and for people who provide help with money, and their labor. Some survivors had never seen Christians before. Doug Wilson, son of Br. Steve Wilson, is helping build houses with Samaritan’s Purse.

29. Pray for the people of Iraq and those who help them to have freedom, peace and justice.
