Our Worldwide Witness

Nepal

The BWM is currently looking at ways to work as partners with our British brothers and sisters at a Moravian School of Music and Worship in Katmandu, Nepal.
Brother Will Sibert recently visited the school and is excited about the opportunities for ministry that he saw.

Please pray:
For God’s guidance and direction, that our rich heritage of Moravian music might be used to bring Nepalese people to Christ.

Democratic Republic of Congo

The Moravian Church in Western Tanzania, along with the Danish Mission Board, has been involved in evangelistic outreach in the Congo. Somewhere between10,000 and 15,000 people have already come to Christ. In October, the BWM will solidify its involvement in this mission by being present at a Conference in the Congo.

That God would show us how to join in this work without getting in the way.

Siberia

The Alaska Moravian Mission Board is partnering with Samaritan’s Purse to reach people in the Russian Far East through church planting efforts.
The BWM has joined with the Alaskan Board as a partner in this outreach.

Please pray:
Giving God thanks and praise for the vision and passion of our Alaskan sisters and brothers!

Peru

BWM representatives recently met with leaders of five independent congregations in Peru to discuss the process involved in becoming a “Mission Area” of the Unity.

Please pray:
For the Unity Board as they seek God’s guidance concerning our possible involvement with these Peruvian Christians.
