1. All Saints Day - Spend some time praising God for the saints, some still living, some in glory, persons who were a blessing to you and a blessing to the world. Talk to God about them.

2. SUNDAY – Pray for George Goff, Miskito Moravian pilot in Honduras, as he speaks at the Mission Lovefeast  at Fairview at 3 pm.

3. Say words of praise to God for moving the divided Moravian churches in Honduras to make plans to have one synod and to talk together about becoming one province again.

4. ELECTION DAY – Lift up to God names of candidates for public office.  Ask God to help all citizens to vote for leaders that will please Him. 

5. Pray for the two young men from Denmark who are giving 6 months of their lives to help missionary Sam Propsom teach Inuit people in Labrador.   The Danish Mission Board is supporting them.

6. The Danish Mission Board, including Br. Jorgen Boeytler, is also helping 10 new congregations in formerly communist Albania.  Pray for the Danes.  Pray, too, for the Albanians that many souls will be won for Christ and strengthened in the faith.

7. Pray God to pour out His spirit upon the college age young people now at their retreat at Laurel Ridge; that God would draw them close to His heart and show them His plans for their lives.

8. Br. Jack Geis along with Br. Hank Keating (Presbyterian) are leaving today for a 2 1/2 week evangelistic trip in the eastern part of South Africa.  Pray many people will give their lives to Christ Jesus.

9. SUNDAY – Pray that Jamaican Moravians will continue building Camp Hope, work that many U. S. volunteers enjoyed helping them with. And guide Jamaican Christians to share their faith.

10. In addition to your regular Bible reading could you make time to read one chapter each day of Second Corinthians and then talking to God about what He inspired to be written in that chapter?  Sometimes pray out loud.

11. U.S Veterans Day.  Pray often for our armed forces. Today is the birthday (1893) of Fulp Moravian Church, Wayne Byerly, pastor.  Pray God will help them to find many awakened souls to bring to the Savior.

12. Pray for as many judges, police officers, doctors, nurses, teachers, whose names you can mention to God. Pray for Secretary of Treasury Paul O’Neil, Interior Secretary Gail Norton and Secretary of Veterans Affairs Anthony Principi.

13. NOVEMBER THIRTEENTH FESTIVAL (1741). Today is Home Church’s birthday (1771).  Pray for members and pastors Gerald Harris, Scott Venable, Lehoma Goode, Carl Southerland and Craig Atwood.

14. Today let’s pray for all the children of our nation – to have integrity, purity of mind and body, honesty, concern for others and to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and of the Holy Scriptures.

15. Take time to be holy; speak oft with thy Lord; abide in Him always and feed on His word. 

16. SUNDAY – Ask God to move among us in the 250^th Anniversary Lovefeasts in our local congregations and then at 3 pm in Wait Chapel at Wake Forest University for the big celebration of God’s goodness.

17. Ask God to guide Southern Province Women’s Board members today.  If you belong to a circle or Gemeinschaft group or other small groups, pray for each person in your group.

18. Moravians began church work in Honduras in 1930.  Today there are more than 86 Moravian churches in Honduras. Talk to God about church growth and about starting more new churches where you live.

19. God inspired Peter to write that we can be born again through the living and enduring word of God. I Peter 1:23 Ask God to help you tell people often about this.

20. We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.   Ask God to help you to do this.  Continue your daily reading in 2^nd Corinthians – just one chapter a day.

21. Pray for Providence Moravian Church.  Providence was organized in 1880. Pray for the pastor, Br. Arkon Stewart and wife Rosemary (unpaid secretary).

22. Often pray for Israel and surrounding nations and freedom from terrorism and for the Moravian Rehabilitation center in Ramallah near Jerusalem.

23. SUNDAY – Pray for American Bible Society and Gideon Bible International and for Wycliffe Bible Translators.

24. Two churches have birthdays today: 1991, Christ the King in Durham, pastors Frank and Leslie Venable and 1963, Peace Church in Charlotte, Jim Doss, pastor. Pray for members and pastors that they may win many people for Christ.

25. Mt. Bethel Moravian in Cana, VA has a birthday today 1852, Pastor John Fry. Pray for healing for John’s wife Edith and also for his son.

26. Today let’s pray for Bishop Isaac Nicodomo and the approximately 85,000 Moravians in Western Tanzania province.

27. THANKSGIVING DAY - Could you pray and sing lots of songs of praise go God today at home as well as in church?

29. Today is Mayodan Moravian Church’s birthday (1896).  Let’s pray for members and pastors Joseph and Kelly Moore.

30. FIRST SUNDAY IN ADVENT – Before you start for church, spend prayer time at home. Prince of Peace Church in Miami, FL has their birthday today (1986). Their pastor is Br. Joe Nicholas.
