1. Birthday of the Moravian Church (1457). In your prayertime, talk to God about the thoughts in the Moravian Covenant for Christian Living. Today is a Quiet Day for ministers and educators at Trinity at 10:30 a.m.

2. Pray for Br. Sam Propsom’s wife, Debra; today is her birthday. Pray to God to bless their training of Christian leaders in Labrador.

3. Talk to God about the thoughts in the Moravian Ground of the Unity, if you have a copy. Br. Chris Thore is to preach at Lenten Service at Trinity today at 11 am. Pray for him and those who come to worship.

4. Pray for ministers in their monthly meeting at Friedland. Pray for Br. Tim Sapp, new student pastor at Pine Chapel and Br. Jon Boling, new pastor at Mizpah, that their members bring in people who need the Lord.

5. For God to continue to heal Br. John Kapp and wife Louise, both recovering from falls; for health for Mt. Bethel pastor John Frye and wife Edith. Also for Sr. Polly Applefield, recovering from a  broken leg

6. Pray God to bless Br. Stuart Zimmerman, new pastor at Unity Moravian. Also remember Br. Wally Yarbrough, new pastor at Friedland. Pray for Provincial Teacher Training event at Friedland today.

7. SUNDAY - Today is Moravian Unity Prayer Day; pray for Moravians worldwide and Guyana in particular.  Pray for young folks attending Provincial Youth Lovefeast at Clemmons today.

8. Pray God to guide Interprovincial Faith and Order Commission to defend the church’s faith.  Also for people attending the Quiet Day at Trinity Moravian Church today.

9. Pray often God will help you meet persons He has awakened spiritually, people interested in learning about Christ and salvation. Tell them what Jesus has done for you.

10. Pray for people attending Lenten Day of Prayer this morning at Ardmore Moravian Church. Beth Coleman, R.N. is to speak.

11. Pray for Samaritan Purse workers and their leader, Franklin Graham and praise God Franklin met with the President of Sudan who now wants peace between Moslems and Christians in his war-torn nation.

12. Praise God for the privilege of prayer. Tell Him often I love You, dear God, over and over again. Thank Him, too, for assuring you that you are saved.

13. Tell God you believe nothing can separate you from Him because He loves you. Read John 3 aloud at least once today. Ask God to help you give one other person this assurance today, too.

14. SUNDAY -The happy day for churches to praise the Lord.  On this date (1849) the first Moravian missionaries arrived in Bluefields, Nicaragua. Pray for Nicaraguans.

15. Today is the birthday of Grace Moravian Church in Mt. Airy, the pastor is Br. Tim Byerly. In what ways will you ask God to bless them?

16. In addition to your regular devotional reading, would you have time to read a chapter each day of Galatians and talk to God about what he inspired to be written there?

17. Pray for God to bless the people in the Lenten service at Calvary Moravian today. Br. Jeff Litrell is the guest speaker.

18. Dear God, all I am and all I have belongs to You. I am Yours. Please continue to work in my life. Open your hymnal at home and read or sing some songs to God.

19. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, I believe my sins cost You an awful lot of pain and humiliation, and still You love me, still You take care of me. Please use me to serve You every day.

20. Spring begins. Pray often God’s Spirit will come into the hearts of terrorists to Choose life so that You and your children may live and that You may love the Lord…for the Lord is your life. – Deuteronomy 30:19.

21. Glory! It’s SUNDAY! Father, speak through pastors and choirs and Sunday school teachers. Pray for Matthew Allen, pastor of Oak Grove. He is to be made a presbyter today.

22. An historic day: Second group of Moravians arrived in Georgia in 1736 with the Wesley brothers. Pray for  Southern Province Elders, Robert Sawyer, Betsy Bombick, Donna Hurt, Richard Sides and Thomas Shelton as they defend the faith and make many important decisions.

23. Birthday of First Moravian Church (1975) in Georgia. Pray God will draw them close to His heart and use them to win many souls for Him; also bless their pastor, Richard Spaugh.

24. Pray for Moravians in Tobago. The first Moravian baptism there was in 1799. On this date also but in 1822 preaching began in Salem at St. Philips congregation; pray they too, will win many new people for Christ Jesus.

25. THE ANNUNCIATION. Morning Star began in Asheville on this date in 1995. Southern Province Intersynodal Conference (not a synod) begins today. Western District Synod begins today in Wisconsin Rapids, WI

26. Pray for the  leaders of the Western District: Larry Christianson, Barry Lehman, Elizabeth Miller, Philip Voight,  Glen Keller, Diane Klawikowski, Dan Wilson, and Kay Wipperfurth,

27. Pray the Holy Spirit to fill your heart and the hearts and minds of your church’s members and other denominations in your area.  Have Thine own way Lord; Thou art the potter, I am the clay.

28. THE LORD’S DAY. Pray God to bless the missionary work Methodists, Moravians and Presbyterians are doing among the Yupik people in eastern Siberia, an area that until recently had no churches.

29. For Moravians in British province churches. Bless their Provincial Elders: Jackie Morten, D. Newman, R. Hopcroft, T. Cross and Bishops Birtill, Cooper and McOwat. They help with mission work in India,, Jamaica and Tanzania.

30. Ask God to bless the four Moravian congregations and two preaching places in Costa Rica.  Dr. Leo Pixley is chairman. Bless Samuel and Alvina Downs. They formerly served in Costa Rica but now are serving as missionaries in Tanzania.

31. Pray for Moravian Rehabilitation Center on Star Mountain in near Ramallah, in the West Bank. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and in neighboring nations, as well.
