1. All Saints’ Day - Jesus said His disciples should always pray and not give up. Pray for people hurt by hurricanes  in Haiti, Granada and  Jamaica. There are 60 Moravian Churches  in Jamaica.

2. U.S. Election Day. A great privilege! A great duty! Dear God, guide me as I vote today. Pray for nations where people are not allowed to vote Pray for people in North Korea and Sudan who suffer intensely.

3. Pray for people hit by hurricanes in west coast of Florida, including Longwood Moravian Church, Tampa and Sarasota Moravian Fellowships and West Palm Beach on the East Coast.

4. November is the birthday month of 14 Moravian churches.  Pray pastors and members will stay true to God in faith and enjoy winning souls for Him. Bless ministers and C.E. directors meeting today at Friedland.

5. Would you have time to read, in addition to your other devotional reading, one chapter in Ephesians on the next 6 days and talk to God about what He is saying in those chapters? Inter-Provincial Faith and Order Committee meets in Bethlehem.

6. Will Sibert asks for prayer as he delivers a missionary message tomorrow in Lititz Moravian Church in  Pennsylvania. Can you give a full 15 minutes to worship God today even though it is Saturday?

7. The Lord’s Day - Today is the birthday of Little Church on the Lane in Charlotte (1960). The pastors are Steve Wilson and Billy Flippin. Also today is Annual Provincial Mission Lovefeast at Friedberg. The speaker is Louis Sutton, M.D.

8. Today pray for the divided Moravian churches in Honduras. Moravian missions began there around 1930. Wincap Casey and Sandoval Martinez are leaders.

9. Is any one of you in trouble?  He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise – James 5:13. Do you have a prayer chain in your church?

10. Today is Kernersville Church’s birthday (1867). Pray for members and pastor Don Winters and Christian Education Director, Cheryl Cottingham.

11. Today is Fulp Moravian Church’s birthday (1893) – Pastor is Dan Nelson. U.S.A. Veterans Day and Canada’s Remembrance Day. Pray for police and others who provide law and order in our lands.

12. Pray God’s Presence be felt in Forsyth County’s final celebrations of its 250^th anniversary. Moravian Board of Evangelism sponsors Alban Workshop to strengthen congregations for serving Christ.

13. November 13^th Festival (1741) is a Moravian historical date to remember a revival. Calvary Church’s birthday (1893) – pastors Lane Sapp and Ramona Routh.  Home Church’s (1741) birthday today – pastors are Gerald Harris, Lehoma Goode, Scott Venable, Craig Atwood and Carl Southerland.

14. Your congregation’s day of worship. Ask God to bless Chris Thore.  He is to be consecrated a presbyter today in New Beginnings Church.

17. Today is Bethabara  Church’s birthday (1753) – George  Chiddie  is interim pastor. Often pray for peace for Israel and surrounding nations, for Iraq too.

18. Today is Messiah Moravian’s birthday (1951) – Truman Dunn is pastor. Pray again for the suffering people in both Sudan and North Korea.

19. On this date in 1769 the first baptism in Salem. Today pray for children you know that God might give them great love for the Savior.  Sing often, Jesus loves me; this I know, for the Bible tells me so …

20. God said If my people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked way, then will I hear, and heal.

21. American Bible Society Sunday.  Dear God, my soul thirsteth for Thee…to see Thy power and Thy glory – Psalm 63:1. Providence Church’s birthday (1880), Arkon Stewart is pastor. Pray for them to bring in many lost souls.

22. On this date in 1853 Moravian missionaries arrived in India on their way to Mongolia but they stopped and stayed to serve Christ. What courage and faith!

23. Work crews are getting ready to go to Jamaica. Pray that many congregations will send workers. It is good for the folks at home and the places where they go.

24. Birthdays of Christ the King Moravian (1991), Frank and Leslie Venable, pastors; Peace Moravian, (1963), Jim Doss, pastor, pray for healing for him and his wife.

25. Thanksgiving Day. How can we glorify God today? Today is birthday of Mt. Bethel (1851), pastor John Frye; pray for good health for him, his wife and his son. Encourage home daily Bible reading.

26. Did you get a copy of the 2005 Moravian Daily Text Book? Use it to pay daily with several million around the world. Pray for the approximately 447,000 Songhai people in Niger, Africa, (who sometimes practice human sacrifice) that they might learn Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the sacrifice for people’s sins, if they accept Him.

27. Today pray for the approximately 80 million people of Vietnam; about 6.5 million are Christians. Praise! We destroy our enemies by making them our friends.

28. First Sunday in Advent. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  Father, help me to spread this news.

29. Birthday of Mayodan Moravian Church (1896). Ask God to bless them and their pastors Joseph and Kelly Moore.

30. Pray for people who need jobs. Today in Miami is the birthday of Prince of Peace Church. Pastor is Joseph Nicholas. Ask God to guide Lutheran-Moravian dialogue today.
