1. The Worldwide Moravian Church is one of the very few Protestant Churches that has a global unity. Let us pray for the unity in each country.

2. Albania-In this nation that has suffered much, Danish Moravians have recently begun work there.

3. Br. Sam Gray will be the speaker at the Mission Love feast at Olivet. There will be lots of special music and youth participation. Invite a friend and your youth to attend. Pray! Antigua-Begun in 1756, a strong Moravian work with 14 congregations, five pastors, 13 lay preachers, 6,472 members. The fine Moravian education for the slaves caused them to be freed 10 years earlier than other islands.

4. Australia-There were two fields in the 19th century, but the Presbyterians continue work in Mapoon in the North among Aborigines.

5. Barbados-Begun in 1765, there are 10 congregations with five pastors and 17 lay preachers. Members 1,908.

6. Canada-In Alberta, Ontario, and Newfoundland/Labrador, with 15 churches, 3745 members.

7. 1920 Little Church, Charlotte, NC. Republic of the Congo-Outreach from Tanzania, members 16,000.

8. Costa Rica-Outreach from Nicaragua, Five congregations, three pastors, 223 members.

9. 1980 Grace, Queens, NY. Cuba-Formed by two pastors seeking the Moravian church, served by Jamaica, five churches.

10. 1867 Kernersville, NC. Czech Republic-Outreach from Germany, 16 congregations, 29 ministers, 2,548 members.

11. 1893 Fulp, Walnut Cove, NC. Denmark-A large, very active congregation with extensive mission work

12. 1909 Kellner, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Greenland-Begun in 1733 and turned over to the Danish Lutheran Church. Six congregations still exist.

13. 1741 Announcement to Moravian Chur-ches of Jesus Christ as Chief Elder. 1771 Home, Winston-Salem. 1893 Calvary, W-S. 1965 Covenant, York, PA (Merger of Bethany&Olivet). Dominican Republic-Part of a United Church of the D.R,

14. 1779 Baptism of the first Moravian convert on St. Kitts, West Indies. Estonia-Prayer House ministry stopped by WWI, restored with new life in the past two decades.

15. Germany-Home of the Renewed Unitas Fratrum. The Bruedergemeinde has 19 congregations and societies with over 10,000 members. It publishes over a million Daily Texts in many formats.

16. 1924 Pine Chapel, Winston-Salem, NC. 1980 Unity, Lewisville, NC. Guyana-The church has a strong education ministry, with 8 congregations and 7,866 members

17. 1753 Arrival of 1st Moravians from Bethlehem to Wachovia Tract. Also the anniversary of Bethabara, 1st NC congregation. 1850 Ft. Howard, now West Green Bay, WI. India-Early missions on the East coast and islands, but a permanent work with Tibetan refugees produced linguistic miracles. Work is growing and expanding into new areas.

18. 1951 Messiah, Winston-Salem, NC. 1930 Beginning of Moravian work in Honduras by George Heath. Honduras was an outreach from Nicaragua, among Miskitos and Paiyas then to Spanish, Caribs and English. Two groups, both growing. We will finish nations in December.

23. Your nation and its problems and joys.

25. 1852 Mt. Bethel, Cana, VA. Pray for peace,

26. Think of Ireland and its opportunities.

27. Meditate on Israel, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Lebanon, and all its neighbors.

28. Pray for North Korea, give them thoughts of peace

29. 1896 Mayodan, NC.  Pray for the conflicts in Iraq. Pray for Syria and Iran.

30. 1746 Lancaster, PA. 1986 Prince of Peace, Miami, FL. Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me. The key to world peace begins with you and me and our neighbors. We have opportunities every day to plant seeds that will nurture and grow. God bless you!
